Our adjustable keyboard brackets with integrated slides allows you to mount a keyboard tray under any desk or table. The usable height from the top of the tray to the bottom of your desktop can be adjusted from 3-3/4 inches to 6-3/4 inches in 1 inch increments. Brackets and slides are 14 inches deep with a travel distance of 15 inches.
Weight capacity of our standard heavy duty slides is 130 pounds. The 14 inch over extension slides are a telescopic precision over extension slide with cushioned in and out stops and positive hold-in detent. The
standard slides
do not feature a lock-out position which works fine for heavier keyboard units. The
upgrade slides
feature a lock-out position so your tray will lock into place in the fully open position. A small lever will release the glides back to closed position. They are rated at 150 pounds.
Bracket is one inch wide on each end. For example: a 24 inch wide tray would measure 26 inches wide after installing the brackets.
Height adjustment is made upon installation by moving the bolts into pre-drilled holes.
Main telescoping brackets are made from 2.5mm steel and Powder Coated RAL 9005 Black. One pair of brackets with slides weighs 13 pounds.
Make your own tray, or include one with your order. Optional trays are available in 24 inches through 72 inches wide in 6 inch increments. All trays are 14 inches deep. Tray is mounted to brackets with 6 screws on the underside of the tray.
Brackets are screwed up to the bottom of the desk with included 3/4 inch truss head screws.

Great combo
Beautiful Baltic birch wood tray. Arrived ready to be treated and looks great with my birch tabletop. Set-up with the brackets was pretty straightforward, although I do suggest taking the time to remove your tabletop from its base first. I always seem to do things the hard way, and figured it’d be easier to leave the top in place. Was going to just get the bracket kit only and use a piece of pine laying around but splurged. This tray is a class act. One thing to note, there’s a lip that hangs down a bit in the front. There’d be more legroom without it, which I’d prefer, but it’s a nice touch (hides the brackets and helps with alignment). Thanks for offering this!

Q:
In your description you say it has a detente-in, which usually means preventing the drawer from drifting open. But how do you ensure that it stays in place once you pulled out the drawer? I want to be sure that my keyboard on top stays in a secure position when the drawer is pulled out, even when I hammer on its keys.

A:
The slides have a detent in the fully closed, and fully open positions.

Q:
The photo shows a metal shelf between the slides. The listing options are for wood and wood finish. I do not understand how the wood type and finish selections relate to the photo shown, or the metal shelf shown. Please advise. I am looking to order something like this from somewhere. I prefer to do business with Audiorax.

A:
The shelf is solid Maple with a Black Poly finish. It does look very similar in appearance to the metal components.

Q:
Hi there. For these keyboard tray slides, when you select a width of tray (for example 42") is this the actual usable space or is this the total width from the bracket to bracket? Alternatively stated, If I ordered a 42" width and my keyboard length was 42", would this fit? I want to make sure that when you say 42" this doesn't also include the end brackets? If that is the case, then what would be the total length (including the bracket end caps) if I selected a 42" width? I am trying to configure cabinets and would appreciate this information for planning purposes. Thank you, John Lawrence

A:
Great question. When you select the tray width, that will be the finished width of the tray itself; before any of the brackets and slides are attached. A 42" tray would fit a 42" keyboard. The brackets add one inch to each end. So, a 42" tray would need a 44" space to mount in.

Q:
For the Universal Adjustable Keyboard Tray Brackets and Slides | Tray Included For the bracket i know the length of the bracket is 14 inches. how wide is the top piece of the bracket that attaches to the underside of the table? The reason why i ask is bc i am making sure that i have enough room between the edge of the table and the table legs. thanks in advance!

A:
The width of the top of the bracket is 2-1/8 inches. You can flip it around either way so it protrudes outwards or inwards. If the upper bracket protrudes inwards, you need to plan on each bracket requiring 1 inch of clearance. In other words, leave 2 inches of horizontal clearance for the brackets in between desk legs.

Q:
Hey guys! It's me again, Dip. The adjustable keyboard tray -- is this for a midi controller keyboard? :). I do hope it is for midi controllers. I plan to build one and would use one of your trays.. question is for most 88 keys [arturia 88 for example] will this fit? Thanks! Dip
Asked by:
Dip
- 12/20/2021
A:
This is designed for midi controllers, synths, etc. The Arturia 88 is about 50 inches wide. I would select the 54 inch wide version of our kit for that controller.

Q:
Is the width able to do fine adjustments or is I fixed to the width you choose. For example if I choose 54”, and my desk is 53.5 or 55, can it be adjusted. Also what is the height adjustable to. And finally, what is the weight capacity? Thanks. Jim
Asked by:
Jim
- 10/4/2022
A:
The width is not adjustable, only the height. Height is adjustable from from 3-3/4 inches to 6-3/4 inches in 1 inch increments (in product description). We can customize the width of the tray for you. Please contact us ahead of time for a custom width tray to make sure the details are entered correctly on your order. Weight capacity of our heavy duty slides is 260 pounds for both glides (in product description).
