Q: Hello. Is it possible to customize this 1ru unit? Looking to reduce the height of the front and its angle by half, while keeping the back the same if that makes any sense. Thanks in advance.

Q: How deep of a rack item could fit in this? I’m thinking about getting it for my MOTU 828mkii (FW) audio interface.

A: The usable depth on this shallow rack is only about 6.5 inches. You will want to go with our full depth 2U version of this rack for the MOTU interface.

Q: If I placed the rack at the back of our desktop, with the back of the legs aligned with the back of the desktop, would I have effectively unlimited depth, if I don't mind my device sticking out of the back of the rack and hanging over the back edge of the desktop? Looking at a Blackmagic Audio Monitor 12G G3 which is 9.53" deep. Your full depth rack looks awesome, but too deep for our space.

A: Yes, if you align the back of the legs with the back of your desktop, your gear will be able to protrude as far as you need.
