Q: How deep is the footprint? Not the total overall depth, but the depth just of the bottom of the unit? Also, how much is the overhand on the front and back?

A: The side panels are 9.7 inches deep where they are flat on the bottom. The overhang on the front is approximately 2.4 inches. The overhang on the back is approximately 3.4 inches.

Q: What are the dimensions of the opening on the back side of this rack enclosure? Width and Height.

A: 19.125 inches wide and approximately 11.250 inches tall between top and bottom panels.

A: No, they are not faced with a veneer. The Baltic Birch option will show the plys on the edges.

Q: Does "Usable racking depth" refer to the maximum device depth that this rack can accommodate? Does this dimension differ from the top most mounting spot to the bottom most mounting spot or is it the same for all mounting posistions?

A: Usable racking depth is the same from top to bottom. This dimension is useful if you do not want your gear sticking out the back of the rack. You can, however, exceed the racking depth if you don't mind your gear protruding out the back of the rack.
