Q: 2 questions number one is the depth behind the rail or is that the entire depth of the cabinet and question to can you inset a rear panel of the same thickness wood

A: The 16 inch depth is the overall measurement from front-to-back. We can do a solid permanent back 11/16 inch thick, or add rear rails and make a custom full height 1/4 inch thick panel that would screw to the rear rails. Q: Do you have a recommended max weight capacity for this cabinet or this model: SLA14U-20-BB-UFD-M? I'm looking to mount my full PC recording rig inside and it weights around ~40 lbs. These are great looking products, btw! Thanks, Dan

A: Weight capacity is 200 - 350 pounds depending on wood species and caster selection. The Baltic Birch plywood is very strong. I would put the capacity around 250 pounds.
